Kate Bliss who features on BBC One's Antiques Road Trip visited The Malthouse on Saturday 6th May 2017 with her camera crew as part of the show's 15th series.

This programme which has been running since 2010, sets up two antique experts to compete with each other to see who will make the most money from purchasing antiques and collectables. These pieces are then sent to auction.

With a budget of £200, Kate was competing with expert Paul Laidlaw to find the best gems in order to make the most profit and be deemed the winner.

Kate looked around all the antique stalls here at The Malthouse and bought some choice pieces.

When the episode was aired in September it featured a snapshot of The Malthouse.  This was the same episode where Paul Laidlaw bought a camera for £60  (from another shop) and it sold at auction for £20,000.
